The day before Easter, I took the kids to the local park so they could participate in an egg hunt. I am so glad my mom was there to help me because there were so many people and I wouldn't have been able to keep track of my kids! Both kids were able to get a good amount of eggs that weren't already snatched up by the older kids darting for all the eggs.
Thank goodness for afternoon church so we could enjoy the fabulous Easter morning! We started off with a little egg hunt in the house and they loved it! Then they saw their baskets and it was game over. The kids enjoyed their baskets and toys more this year than last year.
Beckham spent the entire morning playing with his new cars and Brooklyn spent her time coloring. No candy this year for the kiddos. What they don't know won't hurt them :) Maybe next year??
We had a wonderful church session that afternoon filled with great messages of Christ's resurrection. I am so thankful for what He did and went through so we could repent for our sins and live with Him eternally one day.
After church we headed to Clark's parents house and ate a delicious dinner followed by a mini Easter egg hunt in the yard. It was so fun to see all the grand kids look for the eggs!
