ONE YEAR OLD!

We made it! You kiddos are one year old! This year has been such a whirlwind of events and we have enjoyed seeing you both grow so much. We love your personalities. You both love to give hugs to crawl up to mom and dad and give us kisses. The best is you play with one another and laugh. We love that you have an instant playmate. When you want mom or dad you continue to say our names until we pay attention. Milk is your new friend and you love it. You both are still learning how to drink from a straw and you both are in love with cheerios. This past month we went to Orlando and you had fun at Islands of Adventure. That was your first hotel stay and you did great. Books are so fascinating to you and you enjoy flipping the pages the most. Walking is in your future! You enjoy holding onto mom and dad's hands while you take steps. When we go to the park you love swinging on the swings and putting leaves in your mouth when you are on the playground. We had your 1st big birthday party and all your grandparents and great grandparents were there. You are loved so much and your smiles are so contagious. We LOVE you!

McDonald's Convention 2012

Last week we had the opportunity to go to the McDonald's Convention held every 2 years in Orlando. It was a lot of fun minus Beckham getting pneumonia the last day and Clark having to stay with Beckham in the hospital while I went home with Brooklyn....he is okay now! McDonald's rents out a Disney park for a night and this year it was Islands of Adventure! Harry Potter was so fun! My parents and brother came down the night that McDonald's holds a big concert so they could babysit the kids while Clark and I enjoyed ourselves. Seal, Kelly Clarkson, Reuben, and Keith Urban entertained us all night. It was a blast considering I was up by the stage!

11 months

These kids are growing so fast, I can't even keep up! They are professional sprint crawlers by the way. It is very cute to see them play so much together and know that the other is just around the corner. Their first year is almost over and it really has gone by. We enjoy spending time as a family and playing with the kids. Church is getting a little hard since they crawl. I'm glad I am in the primary presidency so I can just let them crawl in the back. Brooklyn has been getting so noisy lately. All she wants to do is scrunch her nose and be heard. Trust me, I hear you Brooklyn! Beckham is still sweet as ever and loves to play with you in his room. He loves rolling around on the floor and copying what you do. We are trying to some what ween Brooklyn from the paci by only allowing her to have it at night. I think she understands because when I go to get her from her crib she literally gives me her paci. Smart girl! They both love bath time and playing with their bath toys. This age is so much fun because we feel like we can go more places and do more things with them. Just one more month and you guys will be one year old!! Whoa!

We had a wonderful Easter this year!  It was a great day to reflect on the Savior's resurrection. Grandpa Nelson was able to spend the weekend with us as well and we had a lot of fun! We headed to church in the morning and then ate lunch over at Grandma and Grandpa Grays. The kids went on an Easter egg hunt with the rest of their cousins in the grandparent's yard. Beckham and Brooklyn weren't quite sure what was going on but they enjoyed picking up the eggs and putting them in their mouth. The Easter bunny sure left some fun treats this year! You both got a shirt, bath toys, bunnies, and toys!
