Valentines Day

Valentines Day was great this year...very casual though. Clark came home with some beautiful flowers and some reeses! The candy that made us kiss for the first time...awww :) He also wrote me the sweetest letter ever. Yes I cried. 

Sorry for the lack of pictures but this is the only one I got because we didn't even really get ready for the day or go out for dinner that night ( we did go out that weekend though!) And I am the best mom E.V.E.R because I didn't make a fun breakfast I found on Pinterest or decorate my home...oh humbug!

Just Hangin

Wow, it looks like it has been a few weeks since I last posted! The weather here has been just awesome and when we get a chance we go outside and explore a bit.

Not much has been happening here so my lack of blogging does have a reason!

But here are a few pics just in case you forgot what the kids look like :) I can't believe they will be 2 in April!

Christmas 2012

We had a wonderful Christmas this year. We were able to spend it with both of our families! My parents and brother came in to town and stayed for 5 days and it was fun having them around playing with the kids. The kids loved having their nana and papa pull them in the wagon, take them to the tennis courts and playground. We can't wait to have them come back!

Christmas morning was pretty much what I thought it would be...the grown ups opening presents and the kids only interested in the gifts that were already opened for them to play with or their old toys. Maybe next year they will more excited...???

You both are growing up too fast! I love it though. We love being able to communicate more with you and see how well you are learning new things. You both are so sweet to each other and love playing together. You both keep me on my toes because you both love going the opposite way. You each have different personalities and strengths that make you unique and who you are. We love you!

Dollar Store Plates

I know, why does anyone care about my new plates? Well you don't have to love them but I sure do and I am SO excited to use them. I mean you can't beat $20 worth of plates and bowls... And the best part is I have been SEARCHING for something similar and WALA $1!

Ward Christmas Party

Last night we hurried over to the church building with the 90 lbs of pork we had cooked all day for the ward Christmas party. Lets just say my morning was a little stressful! But the food turned out really good, Santa was awesome, and the company was great!

Guess the kids weren't too thrilled about the whole Santa part...must have been the 25 minute line we had to wait in!

The Primary kids did a little music number followed by the missionaries and then the whole ward chiming in...I think it was just a little overload on the music but oh well.

Hope we aren't in charge of the food next year! :)

Christmas Lights at Trade Wind Park

For FHE on Monday, we decided the kids would be old enough to 'appreciate' the light displays. We visited Trade Wind Park and drove through the 3 mile stretch of lights. It wasn't too crowded so we were able to get in and out but I think the kids were entertained for a little bit. The weather was pretty muggy but we managed to jack up the AC while out windows were down. Can you believe its 80 here in December!?
