Family of Five!

Surprise! 

Call us crazy but we are expecting another bundle of joy in September! 

We did not want our kids to be far apart in age so here we go again! I have been so lazy this pregnancy with taking pictures and blogging so this is the first one I have taken. Here I am at 16 weeks!

*ANOTHER SURPRISE AT THE END OF POST*

This pregnancy has been so different from last time. I started getting really sick around week 5 and I was literally laying on the couch  for 2 weeks. I have never felt so sick!

Here is my first ultrasound confirming my pregnancy. I was 7 weeks! It is so crazy how small it starts out! I was SO nervous because I did NOT want to have twins again! Clark and I sighed in relief when we saw just one.

The nauseousness didn't really let up until week 12. That's when my appetite came back. Thank goodness for that! I was tired of eating small meals every 2 hours.

Here's the baby at 11 weeks. I love that I can see the front of the face here and the arms!

15 week ultrasound

You can see the little legs and feet and some hand action. The baby waved hello to us at this appointment.

I got an appointment for when I was 15 weeks at a 3D place to see if we could find out the gender earlier. I was too excited to wait until my 20 week appointment.

IT'S A GIRL!!!

We are BEYOND excited and I can't wait to dress up another little girl in cute outfits and hair bows!!! EEK!!

Easter

The day before Easter, I took the kids to the local park so they could participate in an egg hunt. I am so glad my mom was there to help me because there were so many people and I wouldn't have been able to keep track of my kids! Both kids were able to get a good amount of eggs that weren't already snatched up by the older kids darting for all the eggs.

Thank goodness for afternoon church so we could enjoy the fabulous Easter morning! We started off with a little egg hunt in the house and they loved it! Then they saw their baskets and it was game over.The kids enjoyed their baskets and toys more this year than last year. 

Beckham spent the entire morning playing with his new cars and Brooklyn spent her time coloring. No candy this year for the kiddos. What they don't know won't hurt them :) Maybe next year??

We had a wonderful church session that afternoon filled with great messages of Christ's resurrection. I am so thankful for what He did and went through so we could repent for our sins and live with Him eternally one day.

After church we headed to Clark's parents house and ate a delicious dinner followed by a mini Easter egg hunt in the yard. It was so fun to see all the grand kids look for the eggs!

Butterfly World

My mom, myself and the kids headed to yet another Florida attraction that we could mark off our list...Butterfly World!

The weather was great and we were able to be in the shade the whole time. We first walked through the butterfly gardens which contained hundreds of butterflies! They were fluttering everywhere and landed on flowers and even people.

We were able to hold a few on our hands too! Brooklyn was very interested and enjoyed herself. Beckham wasn't too thrilled about it...surprise!

There was a fun aviary with birds flying above your head or landing on your head, which was witnessed.

I'm glad we went and marked it off our list but I don't think we will be back any time soon!

Disney on Ice

Last Friday Clark surprised me with some tickets to take Brooklyn to Disney on Ice! Beckham was sick so Clark was nice enough to let us girls go out! Let me tell you, taking care of one toddler was so easy compared to two of the same age! It was so nice to have time alone with her.

I had never been to a Disney on Ice show and was excited to see what it was all about.

Brooklyn was good for about 90% of it and then got tired and became restless.

We ended the night with her screaming A.L.L. T.H.E. W.A.Y. H.O.M.E. Oh well!

Boca Children's Mueseum

I bought some tickets to the Boca Children's Museum for when my mom was in town. I try and venture out and do the really fun things with my kids when I can get some help!

I was a little surprised at how small the museum was as it looked bigger online. The kids enjoyed playing with toys in certain designated rooms. Beckham loved the trains and Brooklyn loved to pretend to play at the grocery store.

They really enjoyed the cool pirate ship outside along with some carriage they had in the grass.

Golden Birthday

Every year my birthday seems to creep up on me. This year it apparently was my golden birthday and I was turning 26! I can't believe I'm closer to 30 than 20 now.

My mom was in town for the whole week (yay!) so she was super nice letting me get some needed time to myself! I went and got my nails done and then headed to a few appointments I had planned for when she was in town...dentist, etc.

After a long day my family headed to my dinner of choice...Hibachi!

The night ended with a late run to Kohls and Clark making me the yummiest homemade chocolate ganache cupcakes with Heath and merengue on top!

Valentines Day

Valentines Day was great this year...very casual though. Clark came home with some beautiful flowers and some reeses! The candy that made us kiss for the first time...awww :) He also wrote me the sweetest letter ever. Yes I cried. 

Sorry for the lack of pictures but this is the only one I got because we didn't even really get ready for the day or go out for dinner that night ( we did go out that weekend though!) And I am the best mom E.V.E.R because I didn't make a fun breakfast I found on Pinterest or decorate my home...oh humbug!

Maybe next year.

Just Hangin

Wow, it looks like it has been a few weeks since I last posted! The weather here has been just awesome and when we get a chance we go outside and explore a bit.

Not much has been happening here so my lack of blogging does have a reason!

But here are a few pics just in case you forgot what the kids look like :) I can't believe they will be 2 in April!

Christmas 2012

We had a wonderful Christmas this year. We were able to spend it with both of our families! My parents and brother came in to town and stayed for 5 days and it was fun having them around playing with the kids. The kids loved having their nana and papa pull them in the wagon, take them to the tennis courts and playground. We can't wait to have them come back!

Christmas morning was pretty much what I thought it would be...the grown ups opening presents and the kids only interested in the gifts that were already opened for them to play with or their old toys. Maybe next year they will more excited...???

Brooklyn got a doll and doll house and a lot of books and clothes while Beckham got more books, a car ramp, and a bowling set!
