Happy Halloween!

Tonight was the Brandon Stake Fall Festival where we set up some fun booths for the young kids and had some sort of potluck. It was of course HOT and I am sure it made it to around 85. Yes, that is Florida for you! After all the games were played the kids went around and did the trunk or treat for the rest of the night. Since Clark and I don't have kids we hijacked out of there and went on home to carve pumpkins! Well Clark didn't but I did! I think it turned out pretty good!

Let's just hope we have kids come to our door tomorrow cause we have a lot of candy that Clark and I don't need around for us to eat! ;)

Howdy Partner

This year we are going to make our puppy a cowboy for Halloween! He looks really cute in his outfit, although I doubt he will keep his hat on.

We did find a cute bumble bee costume for him at Target and then we found a human size bumble bee outfit for Clark to wear but Clark didn't want to match the dog or spend the $40 on it plus the $15 for the dog outfit. Yup that's Clark for you! ;) Good thing the dollar store had some outfits left! I think it turned out great!

My Buttons

Tonight I headed to Joann's Fabric and bought the button kit and some fabric. I had a coupon and got the kit for 50% off so it only cost me $1. 25 and I also got 3 fabric quarters for .79 each (usually $1.49) and with this amount of fabric I could make hundreds of buttons! I think they turned out great! Next time I will use some ribbon and make them even more cute!

I think I'm gonna wear the tan one tomorrow!

Ponytails

So I have been itching to try a new craft, well really any craft...so I saw these ponytail button holders. I am soooo making these! They look so easy to make and they are pretty darn cute! All you need is fabric, ribbon (optional), ponytail/headband holders, and the button kit (I'm going to get mine at Joann's Fabric). I wear my hair up a lot so this will add a little fancy to it.

Chair Debut!

Today I got my Target chair and quickly put it together! I LOVE it! All it needs is a nice pillow. I think it looks really nice with the room and compliments its well. Hope you like it! :)

I also thought I would be creative and make some framed art that went along with the chair pattern. I found these scrapbooking pages at Walmart as well as these frames ($.25-$1.oo) and wala! So now when you are looking at the chair you see the art on the wall behind it. :)

Kitchen Crafts

Clark and I finally finished the project we had for the kitchen wall. We decided we would take some of our Europe pictures, blow them up (thanks to Walmart!), and slap them on the wall. I think the final project turned out really nice! Mucho thanks to Clark who hung all the pics up :)

Domestic Goddess

So being the domestic wifey that I always am (:p not!) I decided I would attempt to make some pizza for din din. I used the recipe from Kraft Easy Recipes online and made BBQ Bacon Pizza! I have never been a fan of BBQ on my pizza but I must say this pizza turned out delicious! I think its funny when Clark comes home from work and gets all excited because we aren't having the 'usual'. 'Jenna when did you become all creative?'- ha thanks Clark....!

Ingredients:

Pizza Dough-homemade or store bought

BBQ Sauce

Mozarella and Cheddar cheese

Chicken

Onions (sauted)

Bacon

Bake at 425 for 15 mins.

Chicken Rice

Clark likes going to the Asian store in downtown Tampa to buy all the foods we once ate in Singapore. We decided to make one of his favorite meals, Chicken Rice, which is basically chicken, rice, and chili dipping sauce. He also decided to grab a little bit more ingredients for the dish and the Thai Basil Chicken we ate the next night. I think Clark is having Singapore withdrawals.

Of course I couldn't leave out something about our lil puppy Mac. He is learning new tricks and lay is his most recent!

I can smell FALL

Well lets just say us Floridians don't really get to enjoy much of the seasons as its so freakin hot all the time, but I swear this week I could smell Fall! Yesterday and today was expected to have a "cold" front so instead of it being 95 its 85. Its actually perfect weather to get tan in because you wont sweat but you will have the sun beating down on you. Oh these are the times I wish I still lived in Georgia...one day.

By the way, I think the last snow fall they had around here was in like 1980 somethin...I probably wasn't even born yet.
