My colleague sent me this link today about Sponsoring a Child. She has decided she is going to do this. $45 a month ensures that fundamental needs, such as access to clean water, basic health care, education, nutritious food and increased food security, and household income are not only available to the child and his community, but they will be empowered to help themselves in the future as well.
