and her name is...

I had a doctors appointment this week and we decided that because I was progressing and already dilated to a 2 that Sept. 7th would be my induction date. Yay! So we have one more week unless she decides to debut herself a little earlier. She is still super low and she is causing me to have tons of Braxton Hicks and a few short painful contractions. They don't last for long but I am not looking forward to labor...

I was able to get a pretty good ultrasound picture this week of her. She was moving a lot but we managed to get a quick picture of her profile. 

I don't think I have posted yet what we are naming her but if you don't already know we have decided to name her Kennedy. Clark and I can both agree on the name and I think it flows really well with Beckham and Brooklyn. Hopefully she comes out looking like a Kennedy or we might just have a problem! :)

Regency Grand Re-Opening

Today was quite an eventful day! We headed over to one of our newly remodeled McDonald's. It has been down for a few months due to a fire. 

Ronald McDonald graced us with his presence and Beckham LOVED him! 

This boy would just laugh and follow Ronald around. Brooklyn on the other hand wasn't quite sure what to think of him. Maybe next time...

37 weeks

The end is finally near! Only a few more weeks and we get to meet this baby girl! We aren't sure when this baby will make her debut because with the twins my water broke at exactly 37 weeks. This pregnancy has been pretty much the same as my last except I am not as big and I am a little more tired from chasing my kids!

This baby is head down and my OB said he would be surprised if I had to push more than twice! I HOPE he is right!!! She is such a little mover and she loves to stick her feet out...ouch. 

The twins know there is a baby in my stomach but I am not sure the extent of how much they know. Im hoping jealousy won't be an issue!

Clark and I are super excited to meet her and become a family of 5!

Nashville

A few weeks ago Clark and I got to travel to Tennessee for a quick get away. For those of you who don't know, our family is moving there in September! We sold our McDonald stores in Florida and bought a bigger patch in Nashville! Clark's whole family will be coming too! 

We are fortunate enough to be able to build homes in TN. We will be living across the street from Clark's brother and one house down from his sister. How fun! The cousins will love being so close together. We should be able to move into our homes by Christmas! 

33 weeks

And we have made it to 33 weeks (August 1st). I'm growing bigger and bigger each day now and it is getting a little uncomfortable now. I went to a doctors appointment and was able to get a picture of our baby girl! She sure has some cute features. It looks like she will have my nose! We can't wait to meet her!

Beckham Finds His Nose

This little guy is working on learning his body parts! He knows where his head and teeth are. Looks like he knows where his nose is! Funny kid! Whatever works right??

Lakeside 2013

This year I went up to Marble head, Ohio to visit my family at Lakeside! Every year my dad's side of the family rents a house for a week and we enjoy the fun family time and activities Lakeside offers.

Clark decided to just let me go this year and he would keep the kids for a week! Score! I haven't been back in 4 years and with my grandparent's health not doing so well I needed to make sure I went this time.

Let's just say it was nice only having to think about ME! I could wake up when I wanted and eat when I wanted and go ANYWHERE I wanted at ANY time!!

We enjoyed some shuffle boarding. Must I say that I FINALLY got a puck in the 10 point spot like 3 times!

28 weeks

And she is getting bigger...and well I am too... :)

I passed my glucose test and got a darn shot in my bum because I have a negative blood type. All in all this pregnancy is going just fine! Some days I just don't understand how our stomachs can just GROW and STRETCH. I feel like popping all the time!

24 weeks

These weeks seem to fly by now. I can't believe I am over half way there! Nothing really has changed over the last few weeks except I am having braxton hicks and getting bigger. It has been interesting to see the differences with carrying one baby versus two. There hasn't been too many differences except I can't fit into all my maternity clothes yet. Guess my big belly last time was a little too big!

No names have been finalized for this baby girl yet. I have a few I have liked but Clark seems to think they are all silly. 

We were watching a friend's baby here the other day and Brooklyn was so gentle and loving and Beckham would just laugh. I really hope this is a good indication of what is to come!

Mother's Day 2013

I had a wonderful Mother's Day this year. It started out with Clark waking up with the kids and making some delicious German pancakes! YUM! Clark was even able to ride with us to church since there were no early church  meetings!

Each mom was given a pretty rose and we enjoyed listening to the kids sing a Mother's Day song.

Clark let me get a nap in after church before we headed over to his sisters for yummy Hawaiian haystacks.

I  received a pretty hand stamped bracelet I wanted! Over all it was a wonderful day and I feel so blessed to be a mother to Beckham and Brooklyn. They are such a joy and pleasure to be around. They even teach me a few things  :)

I am also grateful for my mother who has always been there for me. She has taught me how to love be kind and patient. She has been a wonderful example to me through my life and she is a great Nana to our kids.
